Vevo Graphics Packages
VEVO hired me to design graphics packages and toolkits for some of their original series, a combination of short and long-form content.
Short-form content focused on quick moments with artists, while longer content was more of a sit-down interview with them.
I came up with different design directions for each type of content. Short form content was more playfully designed, using type as texture, speaking a more digital/UI language in terms of motion, playing with parallax and creating flat depth by layering images, type and video in frame. The motion was intended to mimic endless scroll and the strategic cropping of talent imagery made for a visually dynamic piece.
Long-form content got a more sophisticated treatment, relying on image and type, scale and simple shapes. In an effort to speak to the linear structure of the interview I chose left to right motion for the animation in these treatments.
